Hi! My name is Reyna Katko, and I'm a journalist currently working at KOMU 8, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, MO.

Throughout my year and a half as a reporter at KOMU 8, I have covered a wide variety of dayturn stories ranging from breaking news about deadly apartment fires to live results from Missouri elections. I’ve also been able to hone my skills as an MMJ through pitching and pursuing enterprise stories. Those longform stories have ranged from period poverty to alleged mistreatment at a local daycare.

This past summer, I also produced and anchored noon and evening shows for the station. I was also able to fill-in for the morning show anchor as well to diversify my skill set. I will continue to report, produce, and anchor until I graduate from the University of Missouri in May 2023.
